Senior journalist Manoj White John was found dead in his Navi Mumbai flat on 3 September.
According to people familiar, the journalist was undergoing treatment for various ailments for a while. His body was found lying in the flat by residential society members who informed the cops.
During his career over decades , John has worked with prominent business news publications such as Financial Express and Business Standard.
Also, he has written extensively for a number of other publications as well.
John served as Director of Atheist International, an organisation based out of Washington having special consultative status at the UN.
He was also closely associated with the film industry.
John headed various campaigns spreading atheism and rational thinking across different organisations.
John holds a post graduate degree in journalism and social science.
